Deacon Board

This ministry exists to support the Pastor and to rendered service in the church and give needed assistance in the various ministries of the local body of believers.

OUR OBJECTIVE is to serve the Lord by conducting a caring ministry by visiting the sick, being alert to the spiritual needs of the congregation whereby freeing the pastor to focus on prayer and the ministry, promoting unity within the church, and spreading of the gospel.

OUR MISSION is to be of loyal support to the Pastor and leaders of Mount Calvary Deliverance Church while seeking guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit to serve as a spiritual leader encouraging and empowering the congregation in their walk with God and meeting the needs of members, families and the overall well-being of the church.

Usher Board

The Usher Board is an invaluable part of any church congregation. The Hospitality Ministry of Mount Calvary Deliverance Church is comprised of the Ushers and Greeters.

OUR VISION is to bring together all ushers and greeters and their membership of the Mount Calvary Deliverance Church for the purpose of unity, empowerment, and excitement to influence how they live, grow, and serve their church – as one ministry, one family, and one church body: the Mount Calvary Deliverance Church

OUR MISSION is to serve the congregation and guests in a manner that will create an atmosphere of worship, aiding the Holy Spirit as it penetrates the heart through the ministry of music and the word of God.

Voices of Deliverance

The Ministry of the Arts celebrates the God-given gifts that shine in performances of drama, dance, theater music and exhibits of fine arts and thus joins a long tradition of artistic expressions of Christian faith.

Youth of Excellence

Proverbs 22:6 [NLT] Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.

Young adults are in charge of all aspects of the service from preparing the program, setting the atmosphere for Youth Sunday which is the Last Sunday of the month.

As a result of your ministry, they will give glory to God. For your generosity to them and to all believers will prove that you are obedient to the Good News of Christ. II Corinthians 9:13 [NLT]

Pastor Aide Committee

I Timothy 5:17-18 [NKJV] “Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially they who labor in the word and doctrine. For the Scripture says, you shall not muzzle the ox that treads out the grain, and, the laborer is worthy of his reward.”

OUR VISION is to acknowledge the office that our Pastor occupies and recognize that is he is not just a man but a Man of God. We work with the understanding that our ultimate goal is to be a blessing to our Good Shepherd for the up building of His Kingdom. One must avail themselves to this goal, be active in participation, and be a cheerful giver, an open mind and a creative thinker.

OUR MISSION is to extend love and support to our Pastor and First Lady while they provide spiritual leadership/teaching (discipleship) to the members of MCDC. Such support ensures that the Pastor has more time to concentrate on his calling and exercise the gifts and/or talents God has equipped him with. The Pastor’s Aide Ministry is responsible for various items and supplies being at the Pastor’s disposal to accommodate both his office and pulpit needs.

Hospitality Ministry

Hebrews 13:2 [NLT] Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

OUR VISION With Jesus Christ as our model and the Holy Spirit our guide, Our vision is to assure that as the Pastor feeds the sheep spiritually, that we have provided an atmosphere where the agape love of Christ is welcomed as we feed them naturally.

OUR MISSION is to provide exceptional and extraordinary hospitality service through love and care to all visitors, members, guests and dignitaries. We will effortlessly work alongside and assist other ministries in providing care and services in order for every ministry to fulfill its mission. As Christ is the body, we will undoubtedly look to administer good food, profitable for the mind, body and soul.

Media Ministry

Matthew 24:14 [NLT]“And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it…..”

OUR MISSION is to spread the Gospel not just within Mount Calvary Deliverance Church, but the Gospel to the entire world.

Nurses Ministry

To care for and support the Pastor before, during, and after the worship service by providing water, juice, tea, and towels as well as attending to Pastor physical maintenance.

To care for people who become sickly or injured during the service, and to assist in those who may fall out under the Holy Ghost during a service.

Men Seeking God (MSG)

Acts 13:22 [NLT] But God removed Saul and replaced him with David, a man about whom God said, ‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart. He will do everything I want him to do.’

Please join us for this time of brotherly love, support and encouragement as we focus on the issues and challenges that men of all age’s experience.

MSG (Men Seeking God): Is a monthly session that the men of MCDC will sponsor and include men from other ministries. The goal of MSG is to bring men together to experience worship, prayer and empowerment from a wide range of sources.

Women of Worth (WOW)

OUR MISSION is to fellowship in the spirit of sisterhood, sharing, caring,encouraging, empowering and supporting each other, through planned social events, networking and relevant activities for today’s women.

OUR VISION is to prepare the women of God for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be strengthened. Committed to humbling ourselves before God in prayer and continuously seeking His heart through which the Holy Spirit empowers and uses us to reach out to others in order to fulfill His divine purpose

OUR VISION is to care for our community through distribution of food, clothing and personal care items in order to provide relief to those who are in need. We will serve our communities in a courteous, sensitive and compassionate manner.

OUR MISSION is to minister to the physical and spiritual needs of those who are in need by assisting and supporting them in transitioning to a productive and self-supportive lifestyle."
